NBTHK Hozon certificated (Well Preserved certificate)
Swordsmith school: KUNITSUGU
A quality old Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword store. A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. Authentic forged Tamahagane steel blade made by swordsmith Fujiwara KANETSUGU from around 1625, early Edo era. Registered as Hozon paper "Preservation Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). Inscription of the smith name and his given title are engraved on blade The great mixture of Gunome wavy and Suguha straight tempered line patterns on the blade. Comes in a stunning ornate mounting including a beautiful openworked Tsuba guard. Shirasaya wooden holder comes with.
