Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
Swordsmith: KANESADA, created in 1625
A quality Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword gallery.
A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. Very beautiful antique real steel blade created by KANESADA in early Edo peiod, Kanei era 1625. The blade has beautiful mixed tempered-line pattern of Notare zig-zag and Suguha straight patterns. Inscription of the sword smith and his location "Ohshu" are engraved on the tang. The blade comes in a black urushi lacquered scabbrad and complete set of ornate mountings including an iron Tsuba hand guard. Shirasaya wooden holder comes with.

*This number means that the blade is verified and registered as an authentic Japanese sword by the board of education and public safety commission.
