Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificated (Extremely Well Preserved certificate)
Swordsmith: DOI SHINRYO
A quality Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword store. Antique Katana long blade made by the swordsmith Doi Shinryo in late Edo period 1800's. Inscription of the sword smith name is engraved on the tang. Beautiful stray-straight "hamon" tempered line pattern on blade. Registered as TOKUBETSU Hozon paper "Extremely Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade comes in a complete antique ornate mounting featuring a great Tsuba gurad finished with genuine gold open work. A Shirazaya wooden holder comes with.
The blade comes with Certificate of NBTHK Japan Sword Preservation Society - Tokubetsu Hozon Paper (Extremely Well preserved sword)

*This number means that the blade is verified and registered as an authentic Japanese sword by the board of education and public safety commission.
