Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificated (Extremely Well Preserved certificate)
Swordsmith: KANEMITSU
A quality Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword store. Antique Katana long blade made by the swordsmith KANEMITSU located in Nanki (Wakayama) in late Edo period 1800's. Inscription of the sword smith name and his location, and completion date is engraved on the tang. Beautiful stray-straight "hamon" tempered line pattern on blade. Registered as TOKUBETSU Hozon paper "Extremely Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade comes in a complete antique ornate mounting featuring a pearskin finish scabbard and a great Tsuba gurad designed with openworked arrowheads. A Shirazaya wooden holder comes with.
The blade comes with Certificate of NBTHK Japan Sword Preservation Society - Tokubetsu Hozon Paper (Extremely Well preserved sword)
