Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificated (Extremely Well Preserved certificate)
Swordsmith: KUNITERU
A quality Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword store. Antique Katana long blade made by the swordsmith Fujiwara KUNITERU in aerly Edo period around 1660's. Inscription of the sword smith name and his given title are engraved on the tang. Beautiful wavy zig-zag Gunome-Midare "hamon" tempered line pattern on blade. See the stuunng Hamon on the pictures! Registered as TOKUBETSU Hozon paper "Extremely Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade comes in a complete antique ornate mounting featuring a great Tsuba gurad finished with genuine gold, and a black lacquered scabbard with a Kogai traditional Hairpin accessory. A Shirazaya wooden holder comes with.
The blade comes with Certificate of NBTHK Japan Sword Preservation Society - Tokubetsu Hozon Paper (Extremely Well preserved sword)
