Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
Swordsmith: Located in Bungo-Takada
A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. Very beautiful and well polished antique real steel blade created in Bungo Takada (current Oita pref.) in early Edo peiod 1600's. No inscription on tang and name of smith is unknown but this item is guessed to be a Bungo-Takada sword. Finished with sraight tempered line patterns. The blade comes in complete ornate mountings including leather-wrapped Tsuka handle and a quality Tsuba guard.
